Voodoo Dolls

Voodoo Dolls (1984)

This is the self-titled debut offering from the Swedish Psychobilly and Trash pioneers, originally out on 12`` vinyl on Red Dynamite. The ten-track 12'' vinyl captures well the band's musical influences ranging from 50's Rockabilly, Garage Punk, Blues and Psychedelic Rock. Like many of the bands emerging from the British Trash scene, the VOODOO DOLLS left their mark in the annals of 80's Psychobilly with well-arranged originals and their unique interpretation of well-known covers . Highlights are Poison In Your Drink, Tear It Up, Split Personality and one of the better recordings of Tainted Love.

Problems With Girls? (1986)

This is the very rare and excellent mini album from the Swedish Psychobilly trio. All six tracks are Garage-styled Psychobilly, backed by a no-nonsense approach, great guitar rhythms and very tight sound. The instrumental Club "X" and the opening track Vampire Ville were also released on the Psycho Attack Over Europe compilation album. Other song wedgies are Flip Your Coin and That's The Breaks.
