This three-track EP was originally out on Pulp Records in 1990. The record was obviously intended to promote " the forthcoming LP Dr. Satan's House Of Terror " as hinted on the record label, but the album never saw the light of day. Despite the fact or because of that the 7´´ vinyl only includes three songs, the offering sounds more varied and less samey compared to Lager Loutz and their tribute to British horror movie actor Peter Cushing is simply brilliant. This is the fourteen- track debut long-playing record from THE SURFIN' WOMBATZ , originally out on Nervous Records in 1990. The five-piece U.K. outfit comes with a traditional Psychobilly sound , including healthy slap bass, clear guitar sound and horror based lyrics. A couple of real good songs and ideas get lost somehow , maybe because of the generic monotonous tone of the recordings. Highlights are Norman, Wild Man, No More and I Hear The Pounding Of My Heart.
