Boz & The Bozmen

Dress In Deadmen's Suites (1989)

Formed in the second half of the Eighties when The Deltas weren't available for a slot at a major festival, Boz Boorer recruited an all-star line up including Jonny “Stingray” Bridgwood, John Buck and ace axeman Steve Hooker for this side project. The consequential 12” vinyl was released on Link Records in 1989 and holds an excellent blend of wild Rockabilly, furious Rock'n'Roll, lax Garage influences, Rhythm'n'Blues and a general great range of rockin' themes. Highlights are Shake 'em Up Rock, Drag Strip, Wild Heroine, Everybody's Rockin', the cover version of the T.Rex' Baby Boomerang and the seven-plus minutes recording of Mars+Jupiter Stomp.
