The MOJOKINGS’ debut release on Pink’n’Black Records is a fine collection of well-written originals and well-recorded cover versions. The trio around former Shakeout Paul Scoulding created a splendid thirteen-track album, that rocks from soup to nuts. Excellent guitar play and a fat rhythm section generate a very powerful Neorockabilly sound, with healthy pinch of Blues, Rock’n’Roll and Punk. Highlights are Got The Devil In Me, Addicted To You, I Want Your Stuff, The Missing Link and their wonderful cover of Del Shannon’s Runaway.
