" Psycholula" is the brilliant debut album from this Ukraine crew, originally released by Crazy Love Records in 1996. The fourteen tracks, all written by themselves, are coining to something that seems to be a tribute to Gene Vincent and the 80´s Psychobilly movement. Though already being quite popular in their mother country, the long-playing record finally established the trio´s reputation as one of the premier rockin´ bands hailing from Eastern Europe and increased their notoriety in the Western hemispheres. Highlights: Never Die, N.D.E., Through The Night and the Mad Heads Boogie.
This is the third album from the MAD HEADS, again out on Crazy Love. Over the top guitar play, a pretty fine rhythm section and excellent song-writing make this one another standout offering. Despite straying from a traditional Psychobilly sound with increasing Punk, Surf and even decent Heavy Metal influences compared to their previous releases "Naked Flame" remains mainly both Psycho and Billy. The album was distributed on both CD and 12´´ vinyl format. Highlights: Over My Dead Body, Tonight I´m Alone, Electricity and Won´t Get Tired.
