THE LEGENDARY KID COMBO

Booze Bucks Death & Chicks (2007)

Uncorking a cockeyed cocktail of Rockabilly, Cow Punk, C&W and Roots Rock were THE LEGENDARY KID COMBO with their debut LP in 2007. The Italian five-piece are creating a 35 minutes running saloon brawl here with healthy Western vibes, high-speed rockin' sounds and lyrics as indicated by the album title. Booze, Bucks, Death & Chicks was originally released on 33rpm spinning vinyl on Billy's Bones Records before it has eventually became available on CD format by Raucous Records including an extra track. Highlights are Dead City, The Cock Is Going Mad, Silver River, Where I'll Go and Booze & Bucks.

Viva La Muerte (2008)

The Italian quintet were continuing their mission to offer a journey back to the wicked world of whiskey, women, western and related stuff with their second studio album in 2008. Still blending Punk, Hillbilly, all sorts of Rock'n'Roll and even some folklore to create a boozed up, wild rockin' mess without taking either life or themselves too seriously. The Drunkabilly record is a concept album with each track featuring an inglorious and defunct character in the song title and a story to be told. Thou' sound and lyrical approach are very unique, this is a solid buy for all open-minded rockin' folks. Songs like Mary Blunder, Ivanov Sergej, Marianne Hedergaard, Sailor Stuck The Greek and The Ghost Of Tom Pity capture THE LEGENDARY KID COMBO at their very best.
