The Hangmen

Gutbucket RockīnīRoll (1991)

The debut album from the Hangmen was originally out Kix4U Records and includes fourteen songs of raw, wild rocking, authentic Psychobilly with a solid variation of tempo . Despite the low quality of the production and the minimalist sound of what was originally recorded as demo tracks, many of them are very pleasant and a sneak preview on their later output. The long deleted twelve inch vinyl is still waiting for a re-release of any kind. Highlights are a Medicine Man, Hang Em High, Little Bitz and Songs The Dead Men Sing

Tested On Animals (1997)

Tested On Animals is the third full-length studio album  from The Hangmen, distributed by their own Bone Tone Corporation record label. . The UK trio put a lot of detail and variation on the fourteen song affair. The output is a permanent change of tempo, a tight sound and gripping songs, all backed by a classic Psychobilly arrangement of slap bass, guitar and drums. This is definitely one of the key  Psychobilly releases from the late 1990s. Highlights: My Town, Pity My Soul, Body Bag, Mainstream and Deathtripping.
